Making Cookies

Tonight for Family Home Evening we decided to make Halloween sugar cookies together...We had lots of fun...Unfortunately by the end of us slathering the cookies in frosting, you couldn't tell what shapes they were, but we sure enjoyed eating them and giving some to neighbors.

Children

Black licorice? Chocolate? Pudding? Any guesses anyone? Try a black crayola marker....We have had to take away and hide every "art" supply in this house because our little toddler seems to find them and, well, eat them. This one just got bitten up pretty good, but it took quite the washing for her mouth to not look like an ink pen exploded in it...

Happy Birthday T....I hope your day is great. Tecia and her family recently came to visit us for the BYU v. UNM game and we of course won and had SO MUCH FUN at the game and tailgate. My camera was of course not working, so you'll have to keep an eye on her blog for pictures to post soon. Happy Birthday to Mom on the 8th too! We hope that Katie enjoyed her birthday this week too. Busy week for our family!

Our weekend up at the cabin.....

So, this weekend we took the little drive over to Craig's Grandparent's cabin. We had a good time visiting with them and Craig's Dad even drove up and played with the girls too...The area up there is beautiful and the weather was awesome! It definitely feels like Fall up there!!

Weekend Painting

Craig and I are sick of the gold/yellow color on the walls of our room, so we went and picked up tons of new color samples and settled on this soft green--It reminds me of the color of our kitchen in the Orem apt. Marja has good taste in colors....We love it....We still have a lot to do, but it is an improvement. Eventually we hope to add white crown moulding to the top.

Haircut

My little lady got her second haircut by her Mom and Dad this week (Dad had to cut after Mom finished so that we BOTH could try to make it as even as possible--It's still questionable). I love her in shoulder-length hair--I think it makes her look so mature....
