This weekend we finally got out to the Botanical Gardens (We've been planning to go for WEEKS!). They have a special butterfly exhibit going on in their conservatory where they have release hundreds of butterflies from around the world and continue to release them daily....It was pretty cool to walk around and have butterflies just flying by your head...Abby was not amused and was pretty scared of the butterflies, but the rest of us really enjoyed it....Since we were already there, we enjoyed going on a walk through the beautiful gardens as well...They have quite an extensive rose garden....We'll have to go back once they bloom!
They keep the conservatory pretty warm and humid.....

Sorry, I don't know the names for a lot of these butterflies--they gave us a little guide, but they all look so different from the pictures!!

I do know this one--It's an atlas moth and it was HUGE. They are nocturnal so it was sleeping and holding still making it one of the easier to photograph.... (It's on the tree behind Gracie)

Closer look at the atlas moth

Grace!

Blue morpho???
