The Birds

Two posts in one week! :) Every evening around 5:00 at the corner where our grocery store is, HUNDREDS of these small birds gather. We don't know why, but they are very cool to watch. They literally line the telephone wires, traffic lights, trees and buildings. There are even a few patches of open grass where they will all congregate. The kiddos enjoy seeing the "freaky-out birds" so we went and snapped a few photos of them this week. We found they really didn't like the flash and would take off in huge flocks after every shot. Don't worry, they got us back by leaving plenty of spots on our car. :)

We're still around....

We are still around and as busy as ever!! Does anyone else feel like this entire year is just flying by way too quickly? Even the impending arrival of little girl number 3 seems to be coming at us at lightning speed (Don't worry--we are very ready for her to come!!). We enjoyed a fabulous visit with Great Granddad Gibson over the Thanksgiving holiday. The kids really loved all the attention and love and were sad to see him go. We love you Granddad! Grace wanted to do her school play again this year and they are performing "The Grinch" next week. Both girls have been taking a ballet/tap class that will performing next week as well so they have been busy little girls. Corban manages to keep himself busy doing anything at all--He is into everything he can reach and climbing on everything else. :) We are loving our busy life and our kiddos at these fun ages. Christmastime is so much greater as they kiddos get older and get as into the spirit of it as Craig and I do. Hope everyone out there who checks up on our blog is enjoying this magical season as well!!

A Day at the Show

We decided to go to the Alliance Airshow this weekend. It was loud, fast and fun.The girls loved this one. It was our first stop.
Gotta love the P-51.

I think they were playing the "How many people can we get in a C-130" game.

This is Russian Mig-15

F-22, smooth.
Very nice.

Heritage flight, F-22, F-16 and the P-51.

Shade was easy to come by, if you wanted it. Just pull up a wing and make yourself to home.

Randoms

We gave Corban his first "real" haircut this month...We did try scissor cutting at first, it just wasn't working with our wiggly son, so out came the buzzers....It changed his look--He looks much less like a baby....The stinker face is the latest when he sees the camera.... :)

Grace started first grade this year...So far we are off to a great start. (It helps that she LOVES school). She has a great teacher and we are excited to learn all kinds of new things this year.
