This weekend we had Grandma and Granddad Gibson come visit us for a little while and it was soo fun! The girls were so excited to see them and have been missing them ever since! :) We went to the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. It's been around since 1676 and was GORGEOUS! We spent some time in the Audubon Swamp Garden which was very unique (and green). Besides all the trees and flowers, we saw lots of turtles, alligators (or crocodiles--I still need to learn the difference), a snake, and lots of birds. We also went on a tour of the house which was beautiful, but unfortunately were then stranded on the porch while we waited out a very quick and heavy rainstorm and weren't able to see the rest of the gardens. You can take a peek at some of them here: http://www.magnoliaplantation.com/. It really was quite something!
