My girls first day of school was August 18th. Abigail started kindergarten and Grace is now in second grade. sigh. They sure are growing up fast. Abigail went right in just like her sister...no apprehension at all--just pure excitement. :) She has the same teacher that taught Grace first grade last year, so it's nice to have that recognition with her teacher. Her biggest complaint for school thus far is that they require a "rest time" where they lay down on beach towels. For a little girl that hasn't napped in 3 years it's odd, but she informs that she pretends to sleep. :) Grace is still upset that OK doesn't have an art class like they did in TX, but is enjoying her class and keeps up informed on their class pets (They have a crab that keeps killing their fishes). I am so proud of my little girls and am loving that they have each other in school. On Friday on the way home from school Grace excitedly told me that she got to hug Abby in the hallway when they passed each other. :) They're good girls.
