Dreamlifter 787

We were aloud to go and see the Dreamlifter the other day. This is the airplane (Boeing 767) that was converted to haul sections of the Dreamliner 787 around. There are only two of the Dreamlifters.

Here is a view of the Cargo Hold. It is not pressurized.

The tail part of the plane opens so that the sections can be put in here is a view of the door from the inside.

Here's the little engine.

And a view of the tail.

This is the cart that is used to load the section we work on into the plane. You can see how low it is and how it raises up.

If it wasn't for you guys, common folks like us would never see pictures like this. Thanks! Keep them coming.
